nofilter + castaway = 2 songs

i'm consciously going to put in effort to upload songs I have been working on instead of letting them sit on harddrive and gain dust :)

here are two.

I like the first track. Wish the bass line had a little more presence in the low end. I wouldn't mind a section where you drop the snare for a minute and let the synths shine, it gets a little tiring, maybe a little hat line in there. I feel overall you could break it down a little more, drop synths/parts, different combos, keep it fresh. It's mixed quite nicely though.

Second track is nice, little old school ae feel w/ the melodic percussive sounds.

Quality works.

the first one i'm still unsure on, and definitely appreciate the feedback. I keep jumping back and forth between thinking the mix sucks. it's a bit harsh with the snare... I like your comments on dropping the snare, keeping it fresh, etc. thanks again :)

1. from the first second i feel like dancing the marimba. i dont know the steps, but i'll make it work. i really like that electroid bass thingie. nice sounds coming in and out. soft and mellow

i really like this tune, the fading open hat.

that rush at 1:50 deserves a bit more work; now it's too murky

liking it, it's building toward something

from 02:19 onwards, the synth deserves a bit more workin'

the bass is so good

solid percussions;

now it rhythmically flows away. agreein with haut here; get that synth some more playing field!!

i like how the melody evolves; bits taken away, slowly dying

This was good music to make a toasted egg sandwich to.
