No, Heidi Lord is a real person. Or was. I too believe it is all Jodey and Heidi.

of course it's just jodey and his wife, but he's really starting to become that good. Pretty natural progression after his last releases, can't wait when this new stuf will finally come out, been listening it for some weeks. I like it even better than last aleksi perala stuff actually, so lush.

it's not much uniq and fresh, but it's damn good imds, just as we like it.

Which contain a lot of Ultrademon vibes for me, but not convincing enough to be sure. So many styles to be heard in these samples though... Man, I'm so psyched for this release.

P.S. that Jodey Kendrick radio show - am I the only one hearing Steinvord-like tunes in there? Could Steinvord be Jodey (also based on that link in OP)

I think perhaps it's a take on the whole juke thing. It's funny you mention Steinvord, I was just thinking the same tonight about cyg - x1. I was trying to identify it so I could fill out a tracklisting for a broadcast I did, but couldn't find it anywhere in my JK collection...

I mean cmon, Rephlex can't end without that release, specially after announcing there would be an album, we love that kind of music and few can do it. Im glad there is still movement going tho, im totally going to get these EDM releases. What I don't get tho is... why not release these under Rephlex instead of doing a new thing? they totally fit the style.

A small Rephlex crew took it upon themselves to keep on releasing: Aleksi Perala and Jodey Kendrick (as EDM, supposedly including more artists, like Heidi Lord). Not sure if Grant is still involved, but the artists do all the work themselves (orders, shipping, etc.). Other Rephlex affiliates release through other labels and are putting their Rephlex catalogue on bandcamp (like Monolith, EOD, Ceephax, D'Arcangelo soon too, etc.).

btw i have been informing everybody that steinvord is jk for years but oh no, it's got to be aphex hasn't it...

moral of the story is always pay attention to bcm.
