yes this definitely sounds like the work of someone who only recently learned to read

part around 57-58 minutes is too good. The only (very very remote) possibility is that RDJ heavily helped his kids make the tracks, but the youtube description makes no sense. The MIMI label in japan lists no such release. IS the title of the album supposed to be 'strictly commercial' under the name aphex twin?

skipping around a bit, this actually sounds pretty enjoyable & not super-derivative of Aphex

regardless, the track at 45 mins is fantastic - sounds like an early 'bass, breaks n' bleeps' sample or even LFO have be ripped and f'cked with. I think Aphex mentioned in a recent interview he loved the late 80's bleep techno that was coming out of Sheffield. maybe his kids got into that sound... wish mine would ;-)

 

Edit: just saw on youtube the guy fessed-up. silly idea, but still like that track a lot.

As if. I'm all for fakers trolling places like this, it's fun. But, this has not been done by kids.
