What a coincidence! I just watched '86 a few days ago and now started '88.

Looking forward to this, although I think the movie is a lot better than the show.

can't stand Ludovico Einaudi anymore, so I hope I;ll still be able to like this show

The Series is better than the Movie, and the Movie was great, imo.

'86 as I recall built up to a rather beastly intense climax at the end which was some of the best drama I'd seen on telly in ages. '88 dealt with the aftermath of that and the characters healing and struggling with the demons of the past two years. '90 will see them embrace acid house and buying white label vinyl from the local record shop of early demo's of Analogue Bubblebath and Cavity Job. It'll have a more upbeat ending.

Super psyched for this. Yeah, the end of '86 was one of the bleakest things I've seen on tv, fucking hell. Interested to see where he'll take it with '90.

Oh, what? I didn't realize there was multiple series after the first. The first TV series was really good and totally devastating but I'm in for this. Same crew of actors I'm assuming?

I can't believe I missed '88. Catched up on it recently - some of the best television I've ever seen.

Far out I completely forgot about this show. Only seen the movie and will be getting stuck into the series. Thanks for reminding me fellas
