As we heard earlier this year, Rafael & his wife had their Uhaul stolen with over $50k of gear inside. This is the campaign to help him back on his feet.

I am so glad to see it's doing so well! The music on those drives was irreplaceable though :(

If you are a prolific musician you should have your work on a cloud or at the very least have separate drives with copies of your work. In his situation I would have had a drive on my person for the trip. The gear is replaceable, but the work isn't.

This. That's why I always save my Live folders in a cloud (right now OneDrive cause I don't need that much space).

That's a lesson he learned the hard way.

As did I, but not to the extent he did probably.

I saw him play live about a month before all his stuff got pinched and he had an amazing amount of gear. Must have been awful having all that stuff nicked. Mind you, saw him do an amazing show years back with not much more that a guitar and a looper pedal, stripping things back can give some interesting results.

i have many nulls

I'm considering dropping 200 bones on that 12", but I shouldn't....
