Colour in the Clouds - ambient piece

I've been listening to A Winged Victory for the Sullen and Stars of the Lid a lot lately, so I figured I'd give the genre a try. I'm having lots of fun working on this song, and it's not done yet, but this is basically it. I'm still gonna bring in another violin or cello to harmonize with the melody of the first violin. Anyways, have a listen:

Thanks! The first one needs a reworking of the melody. It's not very good, to be frank. I will be working on it as soon as a new melody hits me.

colour in clouds is beautiful, reminds me of enya run through a giant reverb, the melody suggested behind the tails is lovely, perhaps rough it up a little bit? make it a bit duller and less digital, and use maybe less conventional chord extensions, but really nice!
