this drawing is so confusing tho

or this pikachu one either (which looks cool at glance).

the 3D is all wrong. the perspective..

look at the chin + blue line around the chin in particular. the 3D shape doesn't match the pikachu...

and in general.. the only way for the 3D to make sense is if the blue lines aren't actually straight.

this is a cool idea but yeah the execution still needs work.

if the execution was a tad more perfect then maybe it'd be remarkable but to be honest it really does kind of look like high school doodlings to me hahaha.

what a bunch of grumpy pricks. all i was doing in art class at 15 was getting high as shit and doing everything on photoshop cos it was still a novel technology at that point and i had to do almost no work.

i guess phling's comment was more about the validity of sharing this here rather than questioning the creativity or craft behind the pictures; as i understood it:

is it good art / does it have potential to become something better? - yes./maybe.

Seriously guys, I didn't make the thread to say it's the greatest art ever or "holy shit so creative and meaningful", I just thought they were pretty cool to look at for a quick glance, (especially while being stoned and browsing the net yesterday.) And for fuck's sake the kid's 15 of course the execution isn't perfect. WATMM is waaaaay to hyper-critical sometimes.

I definitely feel this when people post hyper realistic drawing that look like photographs although I think you're being a little hard on him. I mean, no one will remember this in a week.
