i sort of want to meet aliens, but also i sort of don't because maybe they'd act like jerks.

heh oh, i didn't pick up on that. i mean personally yeah i think that guy is a total con artist. honestly i would love it just as much as anyone to see real proof of aliens (as long as they seemed friendly), or ghosts or bigfoot or any of that shit. i grew up watching the documentaries on that stuff as a kid, totally fascinated by it, like lots of people. (that was in the day when those programs were actually cool and creepy and well produced, back in the 80s-90s, unlike today where its always just some team of douchebags having meetings where they plan their next step on how to track down the sasquatch that was sighted somewhere)

i asked a spirit medium about the moon, intending to explore the possibility that some sort of secret intelligence abodes there, and perhaps spirits are aware of it through their ability to travel inside of it. as soon as i asked if spirits go the moon the medium took on an air of observant but reserved alertness, looking at me keenly. she said communication had gone silent. because she had suddenly changed vibes i asked "is it still you? your eyes..." she slowly got up and started to walk around the table to me as though to comfort some hurt emotion in me with a hand on my back, and i felt like i could clearly sense that the idea of this was that i was asking about the moon because of some emotional complex within myself, and it had nothing to do with the moon, that the feelings that led to the question would be more usefully directed toward things closer to me in my life.

since then i've kind of had a chilling sense that i was told to fuck off, that it's none of my business. inquiring further through less corporeal methods i've received the idea that there may be things which can experience time at rates incredibly slower than what we are accustomed to, and so we are no match to them in any imaginable way, but at the center of their minds, like ours, is love.
