"Broken" Windows Media Player?

So for some reason, Windows Media Player now shows the album artwork at whatever resolution file is attached to the file it is playing when I switch to Now Playing, like so:

wmp.jpg

I have no problems with it doing this--it's nice to have the artwork full size on my monitor than the tiny 200px image WMP defaults to--but why does it do this? It's happened before and seems to be a random glitch. Database problems maybe?

Why do I use WMP? Easier to transfer mp3s to my Walkman. And I'm lazy.

Windows Media Player is bugged beyond belief. I've had so many customers complain to me about the wav files I've sent them because the last two seconds are missing. It's not the file though, it's WMP that for some weird reason cuts off the last couple of seconds of the wav file.

Don't know about the album art bug, though.

Yeah it hates plugins for Flac extensions and often decides to reboot itself whenever. It might have been one of these times that glitched the artwork. I've googled for this glitch before and it doesn't come up anywhere so who knows what it is.
