I can't believe all of this is happening. RDJ actually gives a real shit about his fanbase now and is actually compiling his old stuff for his fans to hear.

Just think of the sequence of events leading up to this (assuming we believe everything RDJ has said lately....which has actually happened):

Rephlex goes bankrupt

Grant in debt

Grant flips CW LP with RDJ's permission

WATMM kickstarts digital release of CWLP

Fans show an unbelievable amount of support for unreleased aphex

RDJ is touched by how much people care about all his old music

RDJ compiles a few old tracks and releases them on noyzelab interview

RDJ compiles a ton of old tracks and puts them out on soundcloud

Something horrible has somehow led to something amazing. Would any of us imagined any of this happening a year ago? Really puts things in perspective doesn't it?

Im so exited about this I can't even sleep at nights! Iam so glad that RDJ is doing this and all of you WATMM detectives. :D

it was all planned since 1994, CWLP was never meant to be released immidiately, he thought of everything, including grants debt and rephlex disfunct, what an evil grin...

I always hoped for Richard to put out at least some of his unreleased stuff. The idea of him literally dying along with all of his unreleased stuff always seemed like one of the saddest things ever...

Before CWLP I'd never have believed any of this.. All the fake tracks in circulation over the years initially left me with some skepticism that user# truly is the man himself, and his own posts aren't helping, but I'll take your words for it.

he mentioned it pretty explicitly in the syrobonkers interview + uploaded a demo of synthaon9...

Yeah, I remember we all thought he hated us! Obviously not.

Say what negative stuff you like about Aphex fans, but we are very very loyal. I'm just glad it's paid off.

I'm not so sure about that - SYRO was in the works before the Kickstarter was announced, AFAIK. Just good timing, and the good outcome certainly didn't hurt.

Ok maybe Syro. But he did mention that kickstarter "kick started him into gear again" or some such thing. You are definitely a part of this greatness so I'm still saying thanks.
