Then Afx has a burglary to report. Someone managed to get into his humble adobe when he wasn't there, and not STEAL his things, but bring everything required to Copy them, and then make off with tons of his samples circa 1993 (green calx breaks, Donkey Rhubarb, etc.), without him ever noticing anything had happened. Since the latest track (I think) is 1993, the burglary had to have happened in 93/94.

Also, a cleaning crew was required to make sure everything was straight afterward. If we press hard enough on Tor, we might be able to find them if they're still in business, kidnap them, torture them with music, and get the name of user48736353001.

Even if we do find him, I don't think Aphex will care because he hasn't cared yet... or noticed... do you think Aphex has become blind? Thought experiment.

Woops, Donkey Rhubarb was made in 94 wasn't it? Released in 95...My brain is telling me that I saw written down once.

they contain sounds and samples that I've only ever heard in afx recordings.. plus some melodic content that somehow sounds distinctly like RDJ but not in a way that I've heard before. I can't see how it could possibly be someone making fake tracks. These tracks are lush as fuck no matter who they are, but I don't have any reason to question it at all, considering his recent output (e.g. noyzelab tracks)

it's a thought experiment tho. There's more evidence that user whats-his-face is AFX than there is for him being The Tuss.

Well if it's fake then someone has gone to extreme lengths to replicate rdj's exact sound design, down to the same vocal samples, I'm not even sure what to say hahah

Then this guy is amazing at making music that sounds like RDJs and we might all start feeling a bit dumb for thinking it was him. Realistically it would be way less hype-inducing but it's still some fucking good stuff - I plan to listen to it all many many times for years to come whether it's him or not

several of the tracks are hi-quality versions of tracks that have previously been heard in live gigs

also several of the tracks are from the 'joyrex' tape

also Mike Paradinas has confirmed that he remembers these tracks from years ago

so its definitely aphex's music.

There's a tiny chance that its someone other than him uploading his music though ... maybe someone found the legendary lost mp3 player ....
