this is a new track finished a few weeks ago that I'd like to share, but just haven't had the chance to put it up here yet.

its pretty much all software except for the guitar parts which was recorded directly through an audio interface, and i have a zoom guitar pedal as well.

right on. i guess i assumed it was hardware because of the guitar + you've got a very nice natural reverb tone on some of the instruments

this song is perfect. love that chord that plays periodically that sounds so out of tune but still fits. any reason why the white noise cuts out at 4:15 and again 4:23? it's such a minor detail, just threw me off slightly. love the outro. i always love hearing guitars used in a non-overbearing way to add a little salt and pepper to a song.

Oh my god the reverb on just that little click percussion thing feels soooo good. What the hell is that?? Anyway I really love this stuff. More interesting than most chill-type of stuff I've encountered around here so far. You do a lot with very little. '80s but not too '80s, ya know. Definitely following you. I've got a lot to learn.

thanks!! That white noise cut was a little accidental.. the white noise was on the bass channel.. I don't remember why I put a noise gate there so I guess when the bass cuts out the white noise cuts out as well. It's a little strange, I might edit that bit out when I do the next pass. :)

thanks! I don't remember quite what that was, but that stuff was bounced in and out and processed a few times.... but I think it's an 808 rimshot with some reverb and distortion/pitch shifting/filtering etc.
