Looking to hear more mechanical/machine controlled acoustic music akin to Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments pt 2

Hey everyone,

The only other similar artist I've heard is Pierre Bastien.

I know there must be more out there!

What haven't I heard?

Can't remember names..

You'll probably end up searching in the electro-acoustic realm of academic sound composition, them arty dudes been creating noise devices since Luigi Russolo ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luigi_Russolo). Lot of 'no name' conservatory students hooking up their arduino set-ups controlled by max-msp patches to bang stuff. Been to a bunch of such performances and while it is fun to see the machines in motion, musically often meh imo.
