First one really starts to kick off about 1:20. Really digging the atmosphere/vibe. Very nice.

Second one has a similar sort of really nice ethereal vibe. Really quite nice! *follows*

sounding good, how do you sync yer tracks to the 4-track?

Thanks! Easy; I dont :) Pretty much all my tracks are made in realtime.

Sounds awesome man, as Danny O'F mentioned the grittiness on the second track is lush. Soft yet crunchy, like a perfectly baked brownie.

Rain Over Mountain is out now; 100% of Bandcamp sales are donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association:

That second one sound nice and gritty. tape saturation is truly a beautiful thing. What 4 track are you using?

Thanks! Yep, I agree. I'm using a Tascam Porta 02. Also just got a new fancy technics cassette deck which I will be trying out soon!

Good stuff. Nice vibes. A bit of a Kassem Mosse feel.

A bit too much distortion for my taste. I'd like to hear some more high-end definition coming through, but that's just me.

Cheers,

you can use MMC (MIDI Machine Control) for tape multitracks that support it, basically you can use one of the tape tracks to record a sync signal first, then you can sync your DAW etc to that via a MIDI cable. also you can use some drum machines (TR-626 can do it) to send a Tape Sync signal to multitracks without MMC. you sync the 626 to MIDI from whatever and plug the Tape Sync out from that into the multitrack...again, it uses one of the tape tracks to record a sync signal first.

Thanks all of you!

I'm currently in the mixing stage of 4 new tracks in a similar style for an EP release. Maybe cassette in the future :)
