Soloman Tump
Probably 3 years late as dubstep seems to have completely imploded under the weight of its own subs, but the sounds herein are rather tasty indeed. It is more dub than step - lots of rather tasty echo-delay effects and vocal sample layering. You can definitely hear traditional dub influences which was what appeared to be missing from most of what was "dubstep". After a couple of listens Shadowrun and Stand Strong are my favourite tracks. I do appreciate Pinch as a kick ass producer, and he seems to always bring out his best tunes when in a collaboration (I still listen to the godly Shackleton collab album on a regular basis). A good album, but a weirdly timed release when the scene seems to have moved on a bit.
