i thought it would be, but the video on there is the rubber johnny trailer. maybe it is hidden here somewhere behind an old quicktime error message.

I always thought it was a fan-made video from the early days of YouTube, but I'm having doubts now... It was definitely nót on drukqs.net, of that I'm sure.

The video that ís on there is not a Rubber Johnny trailer but the actual commercial for Drukqs back in October 2001 (it was actually recorded on 9/11 and Chris Cunningham wore the suit when he found out about the attacks). It was only a few years later that they decided to make a short movie with what they started with that commercial. It's often referred to as the 'banned commercial' but that's nonsense - I saw it on Dutch MTV shortly before release, scaring the shit out of me

I've definitely seen this before, and the imagery is consistent with the druqks site (see h > LP artwork > 4).

I see it an expressive form of appreciation for and attraction to acoustic instruments, essentially foreshadowing the CCAI era. Richard did so well with the analog gear for so long it seems only fitting to revert back to classical tools.
