Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät in Eurovision Song Contest

Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät won the Finnish song contest and are headed for the ESc finals in Austria! Fantastic!

I can highly recommend the documentary about the band, it is wonderful.

Shouldn't this be in the general music forum? And props for Finland for stopping giving a shit and just sending whatever to the ESC. They are not going to win, but might get some sympathy votes. Haven't even heard this song.

Yeah, I hope they'll win. I have funny memories about this band. One of my friend has a huge punk collection, finnish punk band mostly. Some weekend we decided we would only listen punk and drink beer. (I still thought why) We gone through all kind of jazz, but we finally made it to Pentti Kurikkan Nimipäivät. And we got stuck to it. I don't know why, we just ended repeating their work. It was quite mental actually. Lol we even made a 'cover' one of their song.
