This beat and Hippie Beat are meant for a rapper I'm working with so try to imagine someone spitting over them :)

thanks, it is sort of a demo for now, we will go record the drums for real in a few months when we will prepare the whole album - the drums in this version were recorded in a place where we practice...

Oh wow, I'm really digging Hippie beat! It reminds me of Sufjan Steven's first electronic album Enjoy Your Rabbit, with the way you're using the instrumentals :) It honestly reminds me very much of it and might be worth checking out for inspiration! I think perhaps Year of the Ox off the album is most similar, or perhaps Year of the Dragon.

Oh yeah I definitely hear a connection. I quite like Sufjan, but he really is something I put on on a special occasion - Enjoy Your Rabbit is maybe the most accessible album of his for me. Listening to Year of the Dragon right now, tuuuune :)

Oh yeah, haha. I have a lot of friends into those supposedly 'hipster bands' like sufjan, radiohead, etc. I've asked them their least favorite album by him, and unanimously it's been Enjoy your Rabbit :)

Just talked to someone earlier and he met Stranger Cat (Joyful Noise Recordings) and they said they collab w/ Sufjan or something.

Dpek nice instrumentals I usually prefer stuff without too many vocals.

Hippie beat's definitely a banger. Suicide feat. Simon kind of reminds me of a more rock version of Clark. Especially his recent darker stuff.

Overall quality stuff.

Here, another 2 made for the rapper (with me, the rapper and Simon the drummer on instrumentation):
