9th MOST IDM Tournament - Qualification Rounds!

Here are the 367 nominations.

Unfortunately, the long ones couldn't be completed, so here they are:

Group 1 - Nomination 41

Being stuck in about a foot cubed's worth of crumpled, mangled, flame-lit car for nearly three hours after a blow-out at 80mph with both of your femurs forced out of your pelvis (leading to your pelvis and hips fracturing into various pieces and shards), with both femurs subsequently forced out and up into your rib cage. lacerating internal organs... add wonky breaks to the tibula and fibula in both lower legs, dislocated knees (MRI's pending), dislocated ankle madness, a compressed cheekbone, severe facial lacerations (100+ stitches, no exaggeration, and the after effects take some getting used to), a mega concussion, and right when you think you can't handle another second the paramedics give you an IV of ketamine so instead of the pain stopping, you just end up in an alternate reality IN MIND-BENDING AGONY

Crunchy sounds with reverb and delay and the Amen break and gabber kicks, which repeat with variation each time, and an autotuned "Ooh" sample culled from an early noughties RnB track at the end of every fourth bar, all of which has been cut up into a footwork remix

Group 2 - Nomination 45

Ejaculating into fire at exactly 23:00 on the 23rd of each month; however, during the 23rd successive hose-down session an owl's face is used as a bukakke-familiar target in order to evoke the winged gods of the woods at night into massive whoooosh sounds which are then sampled, reversed, compressed & interlaced in the final mixdown to conjure eternal darkness across the broken soul of man

Lol. So many typos. On the next I think I brought the typos and grammatical errors way down (and left the intentional ones) but a bunch still slipped through the cracks. I put way more editorial work into the actual bracketology (where there are only 64 topics), so don't worry about it.

I could see Ponte tower getting screwed because of this typo, so it's good that we're bringing attention to it here. For those who don't know, this is Ponte Tower:

It's IDM as fuck.

One of my favs at the moment is "A photoshop of a scout stormtrooper riding a 74-Z speeder bike chasing Vladamir Putin riding a weasel riding a woodpecker". That was hilarious.

Also, part of me is dreading that the finals will be Bill Cosby vs Feminism, with Pointless arguments that go nowhere as a runner up.

Awesome, thanks for doing this root! So many decent candidates, as per usual crying in the shower will be a personal favourite before it is cruelly cast aside. It's what it would have wanted.

As a structural steel fabricator, I tend to find that architects apply everything to a design apart from how the F%*&K it can actually be made within budget and time constraints.....

How many people here either are currently working as Information Architectures, or are seriously considering a career in that field?

How many people think the Gantz Graf video is great, because it exposes the architectural structure behind ae's music?

How many people assume that "Autechre" is short for "Audio architecture"?
