Ableton - fades

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all ok.

Just seen that in the preferences section you can switch the small volume fades off...so the clips you set out in arrange view don't have the small volume fade ins. I'm thinking I might leave this off permanently as it's obviously cutting away at the transients of clips...like with a kick.

What do you lot do?

I turned it off for a bit, but then I found that it would also stop automatically crossfading two clips together which I found annoying. So I turned it back on and just remember to remove the first fade on an audio clip, but to be honest I rarely need to do that anyway.

Cool. Yeah, I decided to leave it on and simply edit from the envelope thing.
