9th MOST IDM Tournament - Sweet Sixteen!!

Sweet sixteen time!

There were some fierce match ups last round.

Hyperparasites makes a huge comeback, squeaking past Sean Booth...CHATMM...landfill after a passionate and effective campaign by it's originator, Mr. Sanchez (who, so it happens, suggested last year's winner as well). This was a massive upset, with the the 28th seed beating the 5th seed.

The top seed, Ulillillia losing every year, wins again, possibly bolstered by the Ulilillia losing this year as always.

Despite fan protests, Not making eye contact beat A photo of Bjork. However, to my memory, this is the farthest a single photo has ever gotten in the MOST IDM tournament (they are nominated every year, but usually don't do well, probably because photos can't be properly represented in the polls).

Sixteen contenders remain. Only one can be king. Let the voting BEGIN!!

Moss covered might be a nice theme to make a track with though

I dunno though, natural phenomena maybe not as IDM as things like packets of food, anti pigeon spikes, broken shelves

Had to watch some videos of the minipops kid and he's a strong contender but I'd be so happy to hear a theme such as Hypervelocity Stars being exploited...

Has anyone mentioned the wasp which creates a gall (which is an acorn it genetically interferes with, in which its egg grows) which secretes nectar in order to attract ants to protect it from another wasp that injects its own egg into the egg inside gall using a zinc tipped ovipositor?

Or the wasp that can find the larva of the moth which exploits ants to rear its own young, and inject it's egg into it, by secreting a pheromone that makes the ants fight one another while it does so

i understand. i am torn myself: deep space and idm go hand in hand.. but the kid in itself is a hypervelocity star!
