wow, very cool and interesting. great read. i always assumed the guy was a mathematician. kind of inspiring that he didn't have that background, but pressed himself to learn what he needed to know, actually.

I find it really funny that people used computer punch cards to use computers back in the day. Like how that was their rudimentary computer interface.

Interesting article, kinda wish i had that sort of drive and inspiration but i guess ill leave it to guys like Chowning.
