preemptively trolling The JOhn(aweppitance) lol

At least they waited a bit after the Hebdo attack as to not seem so opportunistic. In the USA we had the Pariot Act written & signed before the second tower hit the ground.

People are fearful and value convenience and security in a large cage instead of uncertainty outside of a cage.

Don't be so naive ( no offense, it's for dramatic purpose ) , the watching program itself is already working for years without any legal control.

They just try tu justify its more massive use...

Yes, since 2007 (and probably before that) : http://www.lepoint.fr/chroniqueurs-du-point/guerric-poncet/france-terribles-revelations-sur-la-surveillance-massive-13-04-2015-1920630_506.php#xtor=CS2-239

Has moving towards a surveillance state become accepted now? Has people really relinquished their privacy so easily?
