Sounds like Leyland Kirby, and for $2 all those long tunes are a bargain. Need to catch up on his bandcamp stuff.

Sounds nice! I used to dig PS, I Love You back in the day, which was one of his comparatively mellow releases I suppose.

I have Kill Sound Before Sound Kills You when it was released years ago. I think John Peel used to play his stuff a bit. Hasn't been on my radar since. May check this out if you say it's worthwhile.

For his more mellow stuff I strongly recommend Happiness which he put out a few years back. Was that album that got me back into him really & its prob been one of my most played albums the last couple of years.

Kid606 has the best song titles too, in particular 'Luke Vibert Can Kiss My Indie-Punk Whiteboy Ass' and 'Site Specific Sound Installation', which is a bunch of pointless noises panning around.

while a lot of his more recent output has been kinda meh in my opinion, some of his older glitchier stuff was fucking amazing. gq on the eq++, soccer girl ep, and the why i love life 3" are all pretty glorious. back in the day i was really feeling the mashup/breakcore stuff too so the kill sound albums and the stuff he put out on violent turd all really entertained me too. he was basically my favorite artists for a few years in my late teens
