Shit me, it's been a while

As of Friday, I finished the ol' Uni and so am officially unemployed now. Woot But yeah, I've got round to doing a track at last (probably the first one in about 8 months) and I've missed the whole Buzz Composer. I do love the likkle program (except when it does those noise bursts in't ears). It was more of a getting myself re-aquainted with the thing track than a full scale track but it seems to have come off alright so I've uploaded it for you'uns.

yeah the time scheduling was about the same for last semester. Only made two tracks! Usually churn out at least 3 or 4 good finished ones and 4 or 5 throw aways...

anyway, listening.

Really like the opening. The noise works really well here for some reason, the tone of the 'synth' is really great sounding. The way the track evolves so subtly is fantastic, with the introduction of the LFO'd to hell distorted thing.

On the whole, it was a little slow, but that was the purpose right? Good meditative track. Had a nice buildup and then contemplative noise fade out.

to offer something that might be useful feedback to you, i felt that the 'loud noise' part was just too much that. too loud in the mix, just a bit too much i think.

but as i say, i dug it. certainly wouldn't skip it if it were a track on a cubus album.

yeah, it is a likkle bit loud you're right. On headphones it seems fine, but on speakers, the distorted sound is faaaar too loud. Cheers man for confirming it for me.

nice track, had it on repeat for 15 minutes last night.. it sounds like a rough version of a Porn Sword Tabacco track.. pretty enjoyable... although the distortion sounds kinda thin or something, not as full-bodied as i would've liked but the track as a whole is lovely!

Cheers man, yeah something really needs to be done 'bout that distortion. I'll play around with it today.

I knew it sounded like something after I made it but I couldn't quite place it but yeah it does sound kinda like Porn Sword Tabacco you're right.

Mmmm that was nice... very soothing.. pretty... I think it could have devloped into more than just those two chords by the end of it though... add a coupla notes to it every now and again and you could make it alot deeper/more emotional.

S;alright, nice piano refrain, but I found it really boring after 2 mins, needs more. It is forgettable.

More or less agree with the sentiments here and most of the thread. I'd add that the noise sound was probably just a little too strong in the mix too. Sounded a bit like Faust in their chilled moments.

Joe's hopefully gonna fix some stuff to make the track sound better. Cheers for everyone downloading/reviewing by the way, your comments will definitely be taken on board. Top stuff
