Samo Sound Boy - Begging Please

Begging Please follows on from the release of last year's "Friend of Mine" by DJ Dodger Stadium, Samo's collaborative project with fellow LA resident Jerome LOL. It's a more personal affair, with label Body High describing it as "an honest and unguarded story about love... [with] lush synth work, jagged percussion and hauntingly soulful samples [bringing] us into his autobiographical account of a relationship slowly breaking down."

They feed the album’s general sense of camp; this is big, glorious Shirley Bassey melodrama, as is most apparent on the soulful closer, where a powerful voice rides atop the record’s wildest, most expressive percussion."
