you gonna have to accept that we are living in different realities, every group lives in its own bubble, but as long as they are not harming anyone who cares, all the people in the video seems to be having a lot of fun, more fun than the people at the plaid and squarepusher shows i went to.

EDM is fine. Sex and drugs are fine. Partying is fine. Even that shitty EDM snare is fine. The real question is- after all that- what can you do with it? How does it improve one's life, and what kind of person does one become because of EDM? That's the only thing that matters. The phuture belongs to one's reality.

Remember that even during the bebop heyday there was dumb shit happening. Louis Armstrong was doing Ex-Lax commercials, mass-produced muzak, cornball big-band music (talk about shitty dance music), a sort-of proto-trustafarianism with embarrassingly-white dudes trying to look, sound and act like beat poets and jazz musicians, etc etc

Anyway, my point is: ignore the shitty stuff (it's always been here and always will be) and support and appreciate the good stuff.

that's a pretty good point I agree with you there Dobbie Gillis and shit like that yeah I get it.. I'm just saying I watched this so yeah I was trying to have an open mind I actually like that really pop Martin Garrick's track but this just was too much for me and mainly because I generally do not listen to music in a party like fashion but I do understand that dance musics function is a fun based related thing I just don't find dressing up like a bunny part of what's interesting about music to me...it's fine if it is for someone else

I do believe there is a middle ground
