I remember there were some really great remixes in the xltronic ae fan remix competition many years ago. In particular the acapella remix of Rae was amazing. I'm on my phone at the moment but I'll try looking for it later!

I'm not a huge æ fan, but their remix for Surgeon is one of my fav track of theirs

Who dared to remix Autechre? I think they all died of information overflow during the process!

remixing ae, i'd say the acapella of rae is definitely up there. there's not much in this category though, going with top ae remixes would have had much more candidates.

I'll just add that AE really needs to release a compilation with ALL of their remixes. I can't remember one that is not good. They're all their best!

Oh, then you haven't heard their remix of Killing Game by Skinny Puppy. It sucks, it was even admitted by Sean to be a piss take.

Honestly disappoints me as I love Skinny Puppy. For my favourite artist to remix my second favourite would have been a dream!

Beat me to it with the 'Killing Game' remix, though it's great for a laugh... At least it was an actual remix and not a subtle re-EQing like the Earth 'remix' from 2005. Seriously, am I missing something here, or is this the ultimate piss take of a remix?

I really like this mix/mash-up with Goz Quarter as a kind of base. Especially the timing of the drums in the last couple minutes.
