SC Poll: Post your choice-with-the-least-votes - convince us!

Recommended Posts

(Just sort by least votes on the Poll page and find your chosen track highlighted first)

I'll start:

Archponf : 4 votes!

Its just a rave banger, but in that raw way I love. I guess it gets few votes because its essentially one riff (done sooooo welll)..... but it made my cut anyway.

What about yours?

I am thinking of taking this one out of my slekshun, it already sounds pretty clean and there are other great tracks that need more TLC

Unfortunatfully my top 20 IS the current top 20. Goes to show how REFINED and PERFECTED my PERFECT TASTE is.

8 world waver ab6

an absolute BELTER. a relentless, non-stop thunderbolt of RDJ industro-crunch. someone here described it as "like having sex in a bag of sandpaper". only 5 votes - where's the love?

21 hapshifter1

a fairly mediocre selection from AB5 bursts into life after a couple of small tweaks. isn't it amazing how much better this sounds than the original? he changed so little, very little more than some re-structuring and maybe a bit of mastering. the thought of hearing brand new AB5/melodies from mars tracks improved like this makes me feel all giddy inside...

15 twister

lovely little interlude here, showing off that trademark RDJ blend of sillyness and hardcore electro. only a single vote? listen to it again

24 ems-alias mgroove

a recent one i'm just getting around to. of all the acid tunes in the list, this track has the most AMAZING groove that always manages to brighten my day. it definitely deserves a vote - certainly more than the 11 it has.

Love this one. Believe me, if we were allowed 25 votes, that'd be in my slekshun fo sho.

Interesting that 'ssba' is the less-popular version.

https://soundcloud.com/user18081971/18-ssba

I like ssba more because has variety - the beats and the lovely bell (which do take a break) and the gentler use of reverb. The bassline synth sounds nicer too IMO. I think if Richard were to remaster this one, he could make it a better track than ssnb in the end.

This version has more votes:

I would list Shroommdot but I can't really make an argument for it that any rational human being would ever even consider.

T13 Quadraverb tho, I actually have one for that. I'm not sure if it's my computer or my headphones or what but when I have the bass off on my headphones you can hear parts of the song that legitimately disappear when the bass is on. My laptop, by default, also plays the song so that you actually miss out on what's going on. The first time it happened I actually thought Richard swapped it out with the original or something until I turned off the bass and that familiar chorus returned. Anyone else have that happen to them?

All that aside, just a really dynamic piece of music that bounces around and buzzes with a really subtle melody behind it. Love it.

Yes! For an ambient-ish track, I think '14 07 b' is far superior to 'Ibiza Spliff'

you need at least one decent Bubblebath-ish track! I suggest this one. Perhaps it's the mythical AB6 Track 1
