since last years mid a/eoty wasnt a big success i dcided to start this years a little earlier

i'll do a count of most featured end of august ... maybe

good way to share ur fav releases of the year so far, nice to keep urself updated - not so ez when having to listen to all the archive dumping !

I'm realizing how bad I am at keeping current with music, as I haven't listened to any of the music listed in this thread

 

Edit: I did think about getting the new prefuse stuff. And I listed to some snippets of the computer controlled afx stuff to decide I didn't care enough

Just waiting for some autechre to make the year worh it

I think that's it for now. Notable mentions: Kendrick Lamar was enjoyable and a nice surprise for me. New Panda Bear was alright. His shit is so much better than Avery Tare's stuff. Biggest shock - new Mumford and Sons single was like, actually enjoyable. They dropped the banjo shit so many others were aping and cashing in on, so I might listen to the whole damn album. Most wary about (allegedly) upcoming Grimes album.

 

There's others above that are in my list (Jiln, RDJ's soundcloud dump) but I didn't want to post anything redundant.
