Thanks for the replies and sorry for the late response, I bought the cornbrail album on Saturday afternoon and the cd came sunday morning! Are all copies on cd-r? I got a digipak via amazon but I would have preferred a glass master job obviously. Would buying through love love records been more worthwhile?

I got my copy of Cornbrail Acid 2 from Love Love. It was also a digipak. I always try and buy musics directly from the artist or labels these days. I heard that Love Love are really in need of support of late, so I purchased CBA2 on CD even though I had bought the FLACs from them months back (CBA2 is one of my favourite albums...totally love it, so didn't mind buying it twice to support the label). I also got a really nice beatwife t-shirt which is super high quality (wearing it now). Delivery was really quick too, and Sam and the rest of the folks at Love Love are totally nice and friendly to deal with. 10/10. With rice, 11/10.

Edit: sorry, haven't checked if my copy from LLR is a CD-r...is there a way I can check?

Oh yeah I love the digipak, but was yours cd-r?

What gives it away that it's a CD-R? The colour? CD-Rs are pretty good in terms of longevity these days are they not? Probably a fair bit cheaper too if the label is not producing thousands and thousands.

Thats a bummer that LLR is struggling. Correct me if I'm wrong but one of the guys posts here no?

Yeah, I think so. I've seen Sam from LLR announce the recent LLR Japan sampler on the New & Upcoming releases board. If they are struggling, then I really hope that they get through this ok. I think I heard that they might have some more beatwife releases in the pipeline (Cornbrail Acid 3 and maybe a drill 'n' bass album too?). I hope I'm not stepping on any toes posting any of this. Anyway, I would snap up any future beatwife releases with no hesitation! I would LOVE LOVE another beatwife Cornbrail album!
