sorry for double post.. but that last track... is so goddamn simple yet so insanely intense, I feel it could have been way more of a monster. man.. is such a pity the man died, this is really something else.

it really seems like he was just getting started, he left a lot behind but good god, what could of been considering his productivity and adventurous aims with his tracks

this shit is hot as hell.

yes incredibly sad about his passing. I was fortunate to see one of (if not *the*) last live show he did and my word is was incredible. just much fun and energy and he just chilled there smokin a GIANT JOINT.

still love the 3rd last and penultimate tracks on double cup. it's like rashad does machinedrum better than machinedrum.

**hates the first season of True Detective and Tim Hecker, but praises DJ Rashad**

The first 2 tracks of the EP are very catchy while the remainder is disappointing. Call me a juke casual listener or whatever, but I am really starting to think DJ Rashad's music sounds too amateur for my taste except for Double Cup, which is in my book an excellent album. He is an one-hit wonder imo.

You're talking out your ass, if you haven't listened to his discography.

Check out CREAM and Worldstar VIP on his album with Taso. very much double cup vibes.

the remainder sound unfinished to me, and even then I feel it. is good.

Those 2 tracks you suggested were indeed nice. What I was trying to say is DJ Rashad's music is hit or miss. The guy also had his moments with Itz Not Rite and Rollin' and he stands out in the genre, I give him that.

I guess I just don't get juke in general. I don't want to turn this discussion into a hate thread or anything. Let's move on.
