Ripper Street - BBC / Amazon series

Has anyone here seen this show? It's really, really good. It may even be the best show that I know. The atmosphere, setting, music, the tragic characters, etc are all so very satisfying.

Only just now did I read they renewed it for two more seasons. It was rescued from cancellation before by Amazon, after the BBC dropped the show after season 2. Yes...

Had not heard of it until now, will look into it - looks promising based on reviews.

I'm pretty fond of this show. Have you watched Peaky Blinders? It's a real treat. Similar tone and setting (Birmingham in the '20s rather than London in the 1890s) but probably a better show overall. They're both sweet though.
