New Der Zyklus EP will be released ZONE Records September 15th.

Donald has granted very few interviews over the years, but he speaks on the exploratory nature of his work in a press release: "electronic music is based on science and the scientific method is utilized in its creation. Theories and hypotheses are put forth and if they are practical and plausible they will be tested to verify them. Some theories work and some don't, but no theory is considered too abstract. All is considered. The more radical the better."

I hope at least this record won't be a throwback typical of his recent stuff. Der Zyklus had some exciting sounds both in freeform and electro beats modes.

Have to agree on you there, the last few Mueller EP's are good but not amazing (except for Tetrahymena imo) or innovating, but most of all: way too short. Three short tracks on a 12" is OK for once, but Tetrahymena, Krypton 84, NRSB-11, Experiment Defined, Experiment Zero are all short 3-track EP's from the last 5 years. And then there's the one track split / collab EP's with Objekt and Visiona.

My actual point is: I'm craving for a new full album. NRSB-11 was his last I think and that one was fucking incredible. And "the more radical, the better" :)

At least we also have a new Zerkalo and possibly new Zwischenwelt to look forward to as well!

So did anyone get this? I completely forgot about it until now. Of course, this being a Vinyl Factory release, it's already sold out and going for ridiculous prices (between 35-70 euros) on discogs too.

Sad that Vinyl Factory had to release this instead of a label that doesn't care so much about glow in the dark sleeves and limited editions... The music is too good for this bullshit (exhibit A = Explosion Diagram).

Slept on the release. I'm a big fan of the last track though

Killer release. Glad I got one before the discogs resellers ruin everyones fun. Digital download card did not work. The last track is indeed killer. I wish he would just do a full Arpanet LP of all of those songs that were being previewed in the "live Arpanet set" posted by his management(?) on soundcloud in 2012. All of those songs are still unreleased as far as I know. Bizzare.

Yep that is definitely it. Crazy to hear the evolution from an early version to the release. I kind of like the chill relaxed version with the lighter drum kit. I guess these tracks get a more intense mix once they get a release.

That whole Arpanet set would've made a classic EP. I like the old version of "Explosion Diagram" alot better.
