nice wonky sounditudes. i like how you managed to create a harmony between the detuned chords. you should continue working on finding tonal harmonies and expand on making these more.. virile?

i'd enjoy the outro of the song more if the drum pattern that comes in would be more potent. i see the work in there of making a drum rhythm, but it still sounds a bit 'stale' to me. a bit too squeeky clean, if you know what i mean

I would say the hihats are too rigid IMO, kinda spoiling the laid-back feeling of the rest of it. Drum programming is very midi/runescape-ish lol, actually I kinda dig that. Chords and pad sounds are lush.

Yeah, I agree with th555 on this part. Also, the drum samples themselves sound really midi-ish. Especially the snare.

The drum samples are thrown on from a cheap drum machine (zoom 234) and unedited. It evolved from a jam I wasn't expecting to go anywhere so they are pretty much unedited I think. Good shout on the hihats th555, they do counter the rest of the drums.

I would echo the above sentiments. Wonderful woozy pad chords. Drum samples and programming could probably do with a bit of work. They also have a lot of presence in the mix at the mo.

I would also suggest maybe changing up the chords a bit at some point, like having a "B" section or something with a different chord progression, then come back to the "A" section from earlier
