granty
I recently got involved in a compilation album that's a response to a local art exhibitions - this one's on Jackson Pollock. Here's my two-part thing contribution, the first one's related to his paint splattery paintings, the second one's related to his ink on Japanese paper work. *Bollocks, can't embed private tracks... Ragnar
this is actually p cool also jackson bollocks I dunno how much I like pollock but I'm kind of interested in what a musical equivalent to his paintings would sound like. Or like even if you could animate them or something, something with the addition of time whether visual or musical Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Ragnar's signature Hide all signatures http://djsaint-hubert.bandcamp.com/ Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/88507-jackson-pollock-inspired-stuff/#findComment-2360836 Share on other sites

He was well into free jazz, Ornette Coleman and others like that, saying it was the only other art form comparable to his style of abstract expressionist painting. That's what someone told me anyway. I reckon you could do some cool visuals with one of those max msp thingies - I wouldn't have a clue how to do that though. If we end up doing a live show of this as planned in the Tate gallery, I'll be looking into it.
