Nicolas Godin - Contrepoint

Air has always put me in a love/hate position to their music between their beautiful moments and their outright lounge cheese. Nicolas Godin's (half of Air) new album "Contrepoint" is so godamn good I can't stop listening, ordered the vinyl and have picked up guitar again. I suggest giving it a try. I'm interested in hearing what you all think or notice about it.

Godin has always been my favorite half of Air by a country mile (I bet 75% of the cheese is Dunckel's doing) but I had a bad feeling about this.

Finally picked it up recently, turns out the hesitation was unwarranted. You're right, it's surprisingly interesting/relistenable considering the concept.

I guess "Glenn" has a point.
