Moog Mother-32

There's a voltage-controlled sequencer and 32-point analog patch bay to create a load of unique sounds. No patching is required to get started, so musicians at any skill level can begin making music in no time.

There's also a 10-octave analog oscillator and analog white noise generator that are both wrangled by voltage-controlled mixer for further tweaking. In other words, there's a few ways to make adjustments to the audio you're futzing with. What's more, a 32-step sequencer and memory bank capable of storing 64 patterns makes creating and recalling loops a breeze. If you're really looking to get serious about a new setup, you can patch multiple Mother-32s together.

Looks gorgeous. Sounds great. I WANT!

Yeah basically, but you could buy two of the Boutique units for this price. But I think the Mother sounds way more interesting than any of the other Moog products on the market right now. And I think the potential Modular integration is going to tickle people the right way.

Very nice! A lot of reverb on most of these demos though. which is fine. but there's no reverb on the unit.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

Pretty shady to have the main pic be two of the fuckers in a rack.

Are any of those people in the vid using just one of them?

Just the demo from 1:50 - 4:20, the rest all seem to have a couple of layers/units going off.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

Would love to wire this thing up to the MS-20 Mini and hear how they work together. This is going on my short list.

You need a converter. Different voltages and different triggering.

It's Moog, so it's safe to say that 600$ is the price of one unit.

Also, that's kind of a noob question, but you don't need an external sound source such as a computer to play around with that synth ? Everything is produced by the VCO+patch bay right ?

yeah it's clear it's the 1 unit for $ 600 bugs.

pretty good price for 1 unit honestly, given it 's moog and they always have that super expensive feel and high quality KNOBS and whatnot.

plus option to patch them up if going down that route. this thing looks pretty, pretty good.

I didn't see that info anywhere so i just asked. But yes, having two of these units for 600$ would be cheap as fuck. I will buy one anyway cause i have a vermona filter lancet that will nicely extend this unit.

Yeah, this can be used completely standalone.

Guest bitroast

more demos !!

actually really enjoyed these because the video demo jumps back and forth a bit between 1 unit / 2 units / 3 units / other modular gear / everything caked in reverb.

these are as far as i can tell just the 1 unit clean :)
