Money for E - Dave ball

Recommended Posts

I always just assumed those PTV 'compilations' were influential on those early Warp producers although I have yet to see any of them reference it. I think Aphex (and Vibert too iirc?) played some '88 PTV out live though, pretty sure it was this.

This sounds quite BoC-y indeed.

This one sounds more like Nlogax to me:

Track is from 1990. Infamix is old B12 pseudonym btw.

Dave Ball was 1/2 of Soft Cell, wasn't he?

And 1/2 of The Grid if it's the same Dave Ball

Every time this thread gets bumped I get completely distracted by memories of my youth. This remix album is that strong, that the mere glance at the song title is enough to make me reminisce a bit. I still have the cassette, so I grabbed my walkman :music: and listened from start to finish. The inspiration to Nlogax? not sure about that but who knows.
