A gifted composer, probably the real father of the "french touch" concept !

I also love the tracks he wrote for other people, such as that beautiful tune he wrote for Jane Birkin. It's incredible to see how he managed to take classical pieces and how he turned them into pop music masterpieces. Sampling before it was cool.

 

Also, the violins of Initials BB still give me goosebumps !

Watched that movie on Gainsbourg a while ago, enjoyable although it was a bit annoying sometimes. Worth a watch still :)
