Same here actually. Jungle and dnb is where I started with electronic music. Particularly Inner City Life was played a lot when I was in Jr. High.

Sad but she's at peace now, struggled with cancer for quite some time I do believe.

Didn't know her name but definitely know her work, lush as fuck voice, RIP.

She was from the time before, an amazing artist first signed to Factory with 52nd Street. I met her in 1994(?) at Glastonbury where she was performing with Goldie; great voice, legend. The CCC thing was a bit of a shock to junglist at the time, but in hindsight people have to make a living and there are much worse crimes against music.

Sad to see much of her work and credit missing from Youtube/Discogs, but that won't affect listeners. Joins Kemistry in the top rank of female contributors to the evolution of drum and bass :
