may be rude
i found a droid app that plays the alarm through the headphone jack (many wont). ventolin or ae krakow is a nice alternative to the screeching alarm sound. dedicated some old computer speakers to being the alarm speakers so the volume is always correct. sometimes i save a mix i like as one file and use that. it's a nice way of waking up. honestly it makes it more appealing to set an alarm and wake up early, adding more hours to the day i bet people here have a lot of good ideas for ringtones. i'm using unreal square, eqed to to be appropriate for the android speakers. that high melody is amazing, it perfectly captures the mindset of "you're all fucking cunts but i have to deal with it." people commonly laugh when they hear it. QQQ
I don't use songs for alarms/ringtones because whenever you hear the song you auto associate it with your phone ringing. I still get the weird association whenever I hear HudMo's FUSE despite not using it since 2010 or something. Never did it again. modey
yep, I've stopped doing this. I still associate inhake2 with a ringtone, even though it's been about 5 years since I used it. These days my phone is always on silent anyway so having a custom ringtone would be a waste of time. My alarm tone is one of the standard beepy iphone ones—I don't like musical alarms. My girlfriend insists on using musical alarms and they startle/annoy me more than beepy ones. I've always thought this would be a good alarm though Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide modey's signature Hide all signatures youtube | bandcamp | soundcloud | twitter | facebook 0F.digital Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/89274-ringtones-alarms/#findComment-2390287 Share on other sites
zkom
You guys never make your own ringtones? I made this version of Nokia Tune some years ago. I got some lulz at the workplace. https://soundcloud.com/omzk/nokiatune-psychedelic Edit: Actually the workmates claimed that it drives them to insanity.
