lucky puppy

I put a good deal of thought into this one, tried some new stuff, sorta failed, sorta succeeded.

the interesting thing is that this came from a two second loop from a week ago that i randomly stumbled on and liked the feel of, but that loop was removed from the final version. lesson: make more teeny loops so i can return and expand them.. i could add more drums but i like it as is. next time i will add more drum patterns and more polished eq and compression stuff, this is already one more than the last one, so that's good

I really like this. I'm not to bothered about the 1st minute but think it really gets good after 1:10. Great little melody combinations, synth sounds, aphexian chords and skitty drums.

thanks, the first part is there because i liked the feeling/idea of a dark mood somehow leading to a bright and happy mood, maybe it's not as pleasing but i feel like it feels incomplete to me without the first part. originally the dark part was longer, though, i cut that because it felt like overkill.
