Mix Mag just put out a feature on the birth of early Chicago House and Hot Mix 5 / WBMX, with a video narrated by one of the founding members of house, Mickey Mixin Oliver.. cool stuff:

For sure.. Seems to a number of these history of house documentaries, but liked how this one wenr more in depth on ralphi rosario, farley, mickey oliver etc

I've heard about the name a lot, there was even a former Dutch record shop of the same name that functioned as an import store for Chicago / Detroit records, but the actual Hot Mix crew seem to be pretty much ignored on other docus yeah! Already worth it because of the mixes on YT :)
