A Christmas cover, in lieu of a watmm xmas comp

I was sad to not be mastering or contributing music for a watmm 2016 xmas comp, but I still ended up doing a xmas track that turned out pretty cool. It's a collaboration this time -me: programming, guitar/harmonies/vocoder, mixing, Lily Fawn: vocals, production ideas, Hank Pine: cello. I've been reworking some of Lily's songs into electronic arrangements for her to perform live, solo, and it's turned into one of the most rewarding collaborations I've been a part of. She decided to put this one together rather last minute, and I'm really happy with the end result. Super fun.

Also, her last album is quite excellent. It's a concept album about a fawn that goes around stealing and eating babies, or at least that's what I get from it. David Bryant from Godspeed You! Eminently listenable! Upon first listen the mutant guitar solo that closes it out is my favourite moment!

And it was my favorite part to record! That zvex fuzz factory + line 6 delay pedal combo works magic.
