TechDiff - Jamuary

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, please move if so!

Thought I'd share a little video I done. Work has been mega busy for me the last 12 months. Spending all day sat on a computer, last thing I want to do after work is more of the same. Have instead been satisfying my music making urges by having little hardware jams instead. Figured I'd have a go at videoing too.

Not a crazy complex patch or anything, just a lot of sequencing from the BSP. On the occasions that it does decide to work, it's a smart bit of kit!

Aww thanks for checking it out!

sounds great! such a funky analogue riff

The bassline stuff is all the Atlantis from Intellijel, such an awesome module! It's not *quite* a 101, but can totally nail a lot of the sounds and does a load of other new things too. Def a good place to look if you're ever thinking of getting into Eurorack.

cool. whats right/wrong with the beat step?

Hmm, there's a whole thread on this topic I think! In short tho.

Pros: Very useful, very fast and intuitive, HW feels reasonably well built, lots of fun (when behaving).

Cons: Countless bugs!

Fingers crossed for more updates and fixes. When/if everything is working as it should, will be a great bit of kit.

Yeah more or less. René is also running a sequence, but is being clocked by a couple trigger outs from the BSP. Everything else is direct from Beatstep.

Funny what you say about the Breakcore stuff. I've always been making all sorts of things, but that was the stuff people wanted to release, or booked me to play. Still into the fast stuff, but would like to release more different stuff too. Maybe I should just dump it all on SC or whatever ;)

This is really good! Props, love the tone of the melody synth, and the whole piece has a nice flow to it. Looking forward to more :music:

The black dog, released.

So ace!

I love high energy fast aggressive music, you don't come across too much stuff that has intelligence and beauty to it as well. sc dump (ot bandcamp to make some $$$$) would be amazing if you have more of that sort of stuff lying about!
