I always had a music video planned for my band that never even recorded anything (I like to plan ahead), in which we'd record a performance for one song and then use it as the video for another song. I loved the idea of the ridiculous juxtaposition and how confusing it would be for casual viewers/listeners.

 

Bit of an aside there.

feels very sterile and cold compared to the tracks windy and colourful synths.

Either way, I agree. Goodbye Rute is total vast/landscapey/evening vibes. That image would be better suited for something like Start As You Mean to Go On.
