Cool and sexy WATTMrs that might want to go "down the pub" and "have a few" and "get pissed"----

*orders taxi to Camden*

Camden is not the best place for food in London generally, there's plenty of choice and there's the market, but the restaurants always seem to be a variation of the London mini chains like the Blues Kitchen. Are you working to a budget? Do you just want a decent and easy feed? Do you want to try out the London foodie recommendations? Do you want something unique to London?

I work in Camden and yeah it's not known for its exotic cuisine - Though saying that Bar 55 is OK for informal American style snacks plus they do ace cocktails: http://fiftyfivebar.co.uk/

Not sure how IDM-y you wanna go but for full on Wire Magazine type IDM shenanigans there's Cafe OTO: https://www.cafeoto.co.uk/events/

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Gilgamesh in Camden is decent but reasonably expensive...

I would come for a beer, but after 10 years in London I'm finally leaving at the end of the month to the sunny climes of Leicestershire.

yeah i guess i'm looking for really good english and good indian cause everything else I can get in new york and it's the best in the world (chinese, puerto rican, domincan, jew, pizza etc)

For a good Indian head to Brick Lane which is pretty close to Camden - It's pretty much the London centre for Indian cuisine.

ditch your girl, buy some e's and go clubbing m8

high street north in e12 has tons of banging veggie curry houses

Edited by funkaholic

the cuban in the market is pretty good IMO m9. i'd be up for "getting pissed" but not so sure about the "getting banged".

i know some good curry places too if you like that sort of thing. i also know a really good puerto rican jew pizza place but i see you have them in NY.

  Reveal hidden contents

while your at it remember to visit the john soame museum and the princess louise which is just next to holborn station

A lot of the people on this forum are what we Brits would call, "a bit common." I'll come up with a list of places for you at some point, but in the meantime take the other recommendations with a pinch of salt.

brick lane curry is pretty appalling although there are some polished turds floating around there. √ e12 deffo better. √

kebab / tukish / kurdish / lebanese etc in dalston / tottenham √ top notch √

if i am not at bloc weekend i would be up for a pint!!!

yeah, brick lane is overrated. plus you have to deal with a load of cunts hassling you to eat in their place as you walk along.
