New James Blake track

James Blake - Modern Soul

I'm not really feeling it to be honest, just seems kinda average.

Not really into this track either. Maybe a few more spins will help(?).

This guy really frustrates me in that for every one joint like this

he follows up with 6 or 7 tracks of Phil Collins emotronica wank. Dude needs to split off an alias from the core business

kinda bummed some people aren't feelin' this yet, I really love it especially the off-kilter piano. Hoping the new album sounds more like this!

I think it's nice, was disappointed with his album after those early EPs.

I think i makes it worse is that since his early breakthrough LP there's now a sea of trust baby art students excreting this bland electronic-y tinged R&B shit all over the place.

This track is decent enough but I admit I am enjoying partly because I took a break from his music for quite awhile.

I think he's sincerely talented but I agree - he's an excellent instrumental producer of tracks like the one you posted, and it's a shame he rarely exhibits that any more.

Everything I've heard from Mister Blake mildly bores me to tears. Not my cup of chai I'm afraid.

Another new one. Apparently the new album is finished and is 18 tracks long. Hopefully they'll be more interesting than this.
