Yeah this is a strong hypnotic riff for sure. I could have definitely heard some low octave pads as addition. I saw 14 minutes and I thought 'mmm be interested to see how you pull this one off'. For me personally you change the tone too dramatically too much through out. At some points its as though you're treating ambient more like hardcore knob twiddling acid as oppose to a gentle caressing of the ears. If you know of Tangerine Dream then you should definitely check 'Phaedra' as a reference.
